Pet Health

Pets are affected by life much like we are. They get stressed, depressed, anxious and frustrated too. I developed a line of formulas for dogs at the request of a breeder for show dogs which addresses several of the common canine problems. Stressful situations, separation anxiety, crate training, travel and new places causes many pets to feel anxious.  The fear of storms can be maddening for many animals and their owners when it causes them to chew the furniture and doors, or just howl and whimper in terror. I formulated ‘Canine Calm’ for these very situations. I have been told by people in the show circuit that it is quickly effective in calming performance anxiety and nervousness that afflict many. When pets get too overly excited and can’t calm down this formula gives everyone relief.

The trainers and breeders love ‘Trainer’s Edge‘ which is a brain stimulating formula that increases alertness and brain function. Whether you are doing serious show training, crate training or just teaching your baby to stay off the new white sofa, this brain stimulator makes it easy for them to learn and retain the information.

‘Soothing Skin and Coat’ formula relieves itchy skin and heals painful hot spots.  It also enhances coat sheen.  Apply to troubled skin areas or mist directly onto coat.

‘Canine Pain Relief’ is used to relieve the pain associated with CHD (Canine Hip Dysplasia) and arthritis.  This blend has a calming and soothing effect as well.  Massage into achy joints. Some breeds are more prone to joint and muscle pain.

I originally formulated a blend called ‘Spirit Water’ for retired show dogs who became depressed when no longer allowed to show. This is a great natural antidepressant for dogs who become depressed at the loss of another pet or when left alone during the day.  It has immune boosting function from the anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-microbial properties. Add a drop or two in their drinking water or apply to the ears, neck and tummy.

A unique blend of essential oils, containing mints, lemongrass, pure citronella and cedarwood.  This blend, ‘Canine Protect’, fights away mosquitoes.  Apply to back of neck, base of tail and around collar area.

These formulas can be used safely on puppies or horses. Use only for short periods of time or intermittently on cats to give their smaller liver and kidneys systems ample time to flush toxins
